Sea Wool Sponge
A soft, sustainable touch—harvested by hand from the sea.

Our natural 4–4.5” sea wool sponges are sustainably harvested by a family-run business in Tarpon Springs, Florida—the sea sponge capital of the U.S. Each sponge is hand-cut with care, preserving the ocean floor and supporting generational craftsmanship. Known for their unmatched softness, sea wool sponges create a rich, creamy lather and are naturally antibacterial, biodegradable, and long-lasting.

Perfect for pairing with any Wild Like Me soap, this sponge transforms your daily wash into a slow, intentional ritual.

Ritual Tip: Soak fully before use. Squeeze gently to build lather with your favorite bar. Rinse and air dry between uses for best longevity.

Description

Every bar from Wild Like Me is handcrafted in small batches using raw cow’s milk, grass-fed tallow, and organic oils for a creamy, lotion-like lather that cleanses gently but deeply.

Each scent blend is inspired by nature—florals, forests, herbs, citrus, and earth—made to reconnect you with your wild, natural self.

Because every bar is cut by hand, no two are exactly alike. You may notice slight variations in shape, color, or weight—each bar will be at least 4 oz.

Always made with intention

The Paper That Grows

Each soap label is printed on lightweight Lotka seed paper, handmade in the highlands of Nepal using 50% recycled content and eco-friendly methods. The paper is crafted from the bark of the fast-growing Daphne bush, a process that allows the plant to regenerate naturally from its roots.

After harvesting, the bark is pulped, blended with recycled fibers, and sun-dried using reclaimed water—creating beautifully textured sheets that are as sustainable as they are special. Because of the handmade nature, no two labels are exactly alike.

How to Plant It

This label can be planted or composted. When planted, it grows a mix of 10 North American-friendly wildflowers (both annuals and perennials) including: Snapdragon, Petunia, Beardtongue, Daisy, Thyme, Poppy, Catchfly, Maiden Pinks, and Chamomile.

To grow:

Tear the label into small pieces.

Soak the paper in water until fully saturated.

Lay pieces on top of soil and press gently and sprinkle 1/8" of soil on top.

Water gently and keep the soil consistently moist (don’t let it dry out).

Sunlight: Choose a spot that gets at least 4 hours of direct sunlight per day.

Watch it grow! Germination can begin in 7–14 days. Be patient and keep the soil damp as seedlings develop.

Lather & Love

Lather the bar in your hands, on a washcloth, or pair it with one of our ultra-soft sea wool sponges for a luxurious, creamy cleanse. Gently massage onto wet skin, then rinse clean.

This is real soap—crafted from nourishing fats, raw milk, clays, and botanicals that support your skin’s natural balance.

To extend the life of your bar:

Keep it dry between uses

Store on a well-draining soap dish

Avoid letting it sit in standing water

Each bar is handcrafted and cured with care. With proper storage, it will last longer and stay firm—all the way to the final sliver.

Rooted in Integrity

Every ingredient I use is chosen with care—for your skin, your health, and the planet.

Sourced from U.S. farms that raise grass-fed, grass-finished cattle using regenerative practices. It's nutrient-rich, deeply moisturizing, and a respectful use of the whole animal.

Delivered fresh from local organic sources and used in a 50/50 milk-water lye solution to add creaminess and skin-loving enzymes.

Comes from local friends whose bees pollinate my mother’s flower farm—making it a sweet, sacred ingredient in select bars.

Are always organic, sustainably harvested, and chosen for both their therapeutic properties and environmental impact.

Are minimally processed and completely free from synthetic dyes, micas, or preservatives.

Is fully compostable or recyclable, including plantable wildflower seed paper labels.

I never use synthetic fragrance, detergents, palm oil, or fillers—only ingredients that reflect the values I live by: simplicity, transparency, and deep respect for the earth and our bodies.
